Today, no area of our lives is untouched by science, mathematics and technology, making it more important than ever that we have a science literate public. BIO5 partners with other UA units to provide educational programming that increases public science literacy.

UA Science Center

BIO5 is partnering with the UA Science Center to design exhibits, develop new programs, and provide resources for K-12 schools and teachers. Together, BIO5 and the UA Science Center are strengthening science education and increasing science literacy in Arizona.

Biosphere 2

BIO5 is working with Biosphere 2, now under the management of the College of Science at The University of Arizona, to develop its education outreach program. Biosphere 2 is a unique facility that serves as a center for research, education and outreach about Earth and its living systems.
