BIO5 is committed to solving humanity's most complex biology-based problems. Together with The University of Arizona (UA) Office of Technology Transfer, BIO5 partners with industry to translate UA innovations into tangible human benefit.

The UA community offers unique expertise and resources to augment corporate research enterprises. Whether to help solve difficult problems or explore new potential product areas, the UA and BIO5 are ideal research partners. Formation of New Companies

The UA and BIO5 encourage the spin-off of university-based technology to create startup companies. BIO5, the UA Office of Technology Transfer and UA's top-rated McGuire Program for Entrepreneurship work together to facilitate the formation of new companies. The UA is also home to the Science and Technology Park, which features the Arizona Center for Innovation, a technology incubator.
