Bayesian inference is an alternative statistical paradigm to classical frequentist methods. It is based on the premise that all uncertainty should be modeled using probability. This analysis approach provides more intuitive and reliable methods for scientific inference; that is, for learning from data.

Symposium introducing Bayesian methods to biologists, physicians, and health science researchers. This symposium will highlight applications, capabilities, and advantages of the Bayesian paradigm.
