Dear Researchers, Lab Staff and BIO5 Friends,

Given the unknown variables, potential health implications, and public concerns related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have decided to postpone all upcoming events at this time. We aim to resume them in the near future.

This decision is in line with the University of Arizona's guidance around precautionary measures that put the safety and peace of mind of our faculty, staff, volunteers, participants, and guests first and foremost.

Check back on this page for updated information. We hope to re-engage with you very soon. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns, and thank you for your continued support of BIO5.

BIO5 Institute Staff

BIO5 researchers tackle the world’s grand challenges by working together in flexible and interactive ways that lead to creativity, discovery, cooperative research, and positive impact to human health.

One of the ways in which BIO5 supports research development and promotes scientific knowledge is by organizing interdisciplinary workshops, conferences, and events with the goal of connecting faculty and ideas.

In addition, BIO5 engages industry, educational, government, and community partners through internship programs, career fairs, tours, talks, and STEM outreach events.
