Research Interest

Gondy Leroy is Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems. She is interested in natural language processing (NLP), text mining and machine learning. She has been the PI on several grants from NIH, AHRQ, NSF, Microsoft Research and several foundations. Example projects are an automated interview system, text simplification algorithms, and automated extracton of DSM diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) from EHR as well as automated ASD case decisions.
