Hannah Budinoff, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona. She leads the MADE (Manufacturing and Design Exploration) Laboratory at UArizona, which focuses on understanding and creating efficient design and manufacturing methods/tools to support the development of cost-effective and high-performance engineered products. Research efforts in the MADE Lab leverage computational geometry approaches, manufacturing process simulations, and machine learning methods to bring manufacturing information into early design process stages, with a focus on additive manufacturing.

Research Interest

Larry Head is the Interim Dean of the College of Engineering and a Professor of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona. He has over 25 years of systems engineering experience related to adaptive traffic signal control, signal priority, and connected and automated vehicle systems. He serves on the Arizona Governor’s Task Force for Self -Driving Vehicles, is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Freeway Operations Committee and Intelligent Transportation Systems Committees, and a member of the SAE DSRC Technical Committee. He is an Associate Editor of Transportation Research – Part C. He is a member of TRB, SAE, INFORMS, IISE, and IEEE.
