As of 2021, BIO5’s renowned KEYS Research Internship has trained 576 Arizona high school students, with nearly 70% choosing to remain in Arizona for college, creating an exceptional pipeline program of STEM talent.

BIO5-affiliated researchers have created 68 startup companies to date, resulting in new technologies, diagnostics, and treatments.

Each year, BIO5 hosts and leads over 50 interdisciplinary events to create connections and encourage the sharing of knowledge.
