State-of-the-art MRI machine to advance research on brain's inner workings

Funding from the National Institutes of Health helped the University of Arizona be among the first institutions in the country to receive a new MRI system that can produce clearer and more comprehensive brain images. BIO5 member Ted Trouard developed the grant proposal in partnership with the BIO5 Institute.
