Dr. Minkyu Kim, Biomedical and Material Science Engineering assistant professor at the University of Arizona, recently received a NSF CAREER grant. This award is presented to early-career faculty who serve as academic role models in research and education. Dr. Kim designed new drug delivery vehicles aimed to reduce the negative side effects of lifesaving drugs, such as chemotherapy.
