Isaiah Sandoval is a package room student assistant at the BIO5 Institute and an applied mathematics and Spanish double major at the University of Arizona. He supports inventory logistics, package tracking, and the organized flow of research materials across the institute.
He is responsible for the intake, logging, and storage of sensitive research materials arriving at BIO5. He ensures accurate data entry for all incoming packages and coordinates timely delivery to the appropriate recipients.
Drawing on his attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and interest in organized systems, he approaches his work with care and consistency. This helps maintain secure, reliable handling of materials essential to research activity across the institute.
In addition to his daily responsibilities, he contributes to creating a welcoming point of contact for staff, researchers, and visitors who pick up materials.
He enjoys talking with the people who come in to collect their packages.
