When BIO5 launched in 2001, it was a pioneer in collaborative research—established to find bold solutions for a better tomorrow through a unique interdisciplinary membership model that connected colleagues from different departments and colleges.
In 2026, BIO5 celebrates 25 years of improving health and changing outcomes. With a quarter century of experience, the Institute is now a globally recognized hub for convergent research. It has brought together some of the brightest minds at the University of Arizona to fuel breakthrough discoveries, technologies, and clinical solutions that impact millions of people around the world.
We are celebrating all year long!
Throughout 2026, members, community, industry, government and supporters will come together in celebration of the anniversary. Join BIO5 at one of these public events!
