Arizona taxpayers like you are what make the work we do at the BIO5 Institute possible, and we want to share our discoveries with you!
We invite members of the community to take a peek inside our laboratories at the Thomas W. Keating Bioresearch Building on the University of Arizona campus during our annual open house or by scheduling a guided tour. School groups and science aficionados are welcome, too. We also host public events, such as Women in STEM panel discussions and the Ignite Science roundtable, throughout the year. Come on in and see what’s new!

Know a High Schooler Who Loves Science?
BIO5 offers a one-of-a-kind summer internship program for high schoolers interested in careers in the biosciences. For seven weeks students work alongside top Arizona researchers on initiatives addressing real-world problems, gaining exposure and hands-on experience.
