I expect to help to place the SensorLab as a major University of Arizona resource for all-things sensors, including hardware, software, and data analytics, specially with BIO5 members. My vision places the SensorLab as unit that can provide more than sensor-resources repository, but as a core facility, a catalyst, which can make proposals and research more competitive to allow the UArizona to obtain more high-value external grants with agencies as NIH, NSF, among others, and democratizing sensor-based research to a wider audience of students, faculty, and staff.
