Amy Barber is the senior manager of marketing and events for the BIO5 Institute, focused on communications, experiential marketing, and strategic event planning that connect research staff, students, faculty, and the community.
She manages the BIO5 experience through strategic marketing initiatives and customized events and tours that showcase the institute’s impact. She co-founded and oversees the BIO5 Ambassador Internship, teaching the business side of science through hands-on mentorship and professional development. She also creates opportunities for employees to practice wellness in meaningful and accessible ways.
In addition to leading marketing and engagement strategies, she supports student mentorship, fosters community connections, and strengthens the visibility of BIO5’s research and programs.
She enjoys working every day with the brilliant minds who are making real impacts on health outcomes now and in the future.
