Gilbert Davidson, MPA

Gilbert Davidson has served as Town Manager of Prescott Valley since 2021, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in local government, including previous roles as Town Manager of Marana and Willcox, Arizona.
From 2017 to 2019, he was Chief Operating Officer for the State of Arizona, overseeing 35 state agencies.
A credentialed manager with the International City/County Management Association, he also completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at Harvard Kennedy School. He currently serves on several boards, including the Arizona Commission on Appellate Court Appointments, Arizona Capital Source, Growth Partners Arizona, the University of Arizona Foundation National Leadership Council, and the BIO5 External Advisory Board.
Davidson is a former president of the Arizona City/County Management Association and is known for his servant and collaborative leadership style. He is deeply committed to ethical governance, community engagement, and delivering high-quality, responsive public service.
He holds a Master of Public Administration and dual bachelor’s degrees in public administration and business administration from the University of Arizona.
