Kelle Hyland is the program manager for outreach and engagement for the BIO5 Institute’s KEYS Research Internship, supporting program coordination and collaboration with students, faculty, and research staff.
She manages the KEYS program, helping Arizona high school students experience real-world research projects under the mentorship of university scientists. Her work includes annual program planning and implementation, along with community outreach, engagement, and partnerships that strengthen the program’s impact.
In addition to overseeing program logistics, she supports research training opportunities and fosters meaningful connections between students and mentors across campus.
She enjoys mentoring and supporting high school students who are aspiring to solve real-world problems as the next generation of scientists.
