Lily Howe is a communications and marketing student assistant at the BIO5 Institute and a communication major at the University of Arizona. She supports social media strategy, photography, graphic design, event coverage, and public engagement across the institute.

She manages and creates social media content, captures and edits photography, designs visual assets, and provides on-site event support. She also leads tours for visiting students, partners, and community members, helping communicate BIO5’s mission in an accessible and engaging way.

Drawing on her background in communication studies, visual storytelling, and digital media, she approaches her work with a blend of creativity and strategic thinking. This foundation allows her to produce cohesive, polished content that reflects BIO5’s values and strengthens its public presence.

In addition to her communications work, she contributes to the BIO5 Institute's KEYS Research Internship by documenting intern experiences and helping highlight the program’s impact.

She enjoys working with KEYS interns and sharing in their enthusiasm for scientific discovery.
