Sean Cadin

Sean Cadin is the senior business manager for the BIO5 Institute, focusing on financial management, budgeting, and operational support across the institute’s research and administrative functions.

With extensive experience in grants management, financial projections, and transactional review, he ensures compliance with federal, state, and university policies while supporting faculty, researchers, students, and administrative staff. He works closely with central U of A units, including Sponsored Projects (SPS), Finance & Budget, and HR, to streamline processes and maintain accuracy across BIO5’s financial and research operations.

In addition to overseeing pre- and post-award activity in BIO5’s grants portfolio, he provides high-level transactional review and compliance support across multiple university systems.

He enjoys working with his team in support of the researchers affiliated with the BIO5 Institute.
