Female Faculty Seek To Spark Girls’ Interest In Science

To bring awareness to the dearth of female role models for women in STEM, the UN declared Feb. 11 the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Through their participation in the KEYS Research Internship, UArizona researchers and students engage girls in science, engineering, technology and math when they are young, aiming to keep them in the women-in-STEM pipeline.
